PROJECT COORDINATOR
LOW CARBON ECONOMY FOUNDATION
The Low Carbon Economy Foundation (LCEF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2014 and located in La Vall d’Uixó, Valencian Community, Spain.
Its mission is to participate in creating a society based on a low-carbon economy, facilitating processes of transformation towards intelligent and sustainable development. . LCEF’s members are professionals in education, sustainability, and the environment, and they have an extensive network of Vocational Education and Training (VET) educational centers, green enterprises, eco-associations, and youth organizations.

HABITARE BANUSAIDI
HABITARE BANUSAIDI is a Habitat Interpretation and Research Centre in Beneixida, Valencian Community, Spain. It collaborates with institutions and universities to create a network for sharing resources and recovering historical memory, cultural heritage, and community identity.
The centre promotes innovative cultural models through immersive visits, artistic residencies, and workshops, highlighting the strengths of rural life and reducing economic and cultural exclusion. Its mission is to foster reflection, participation, and resilience in rural communities on both local and international levels
SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTE OF CÀRCER
IES CÀRCER is a secondary school located in Càrcer, Valencian Community, Spain, near the Xúquer River, one of the most significant rivers in the Mediterranean basin. The school provides education to approximately 330 students from rural areas with populations ranging from 200 to 1.000 inhabitants.
It offers a range of educational programmes, including Compulsory Secondary Education (ages 12-16), A-level studies (ages 16-18), and Basic Vocational Training. The institution is staffed by 55 specialized teachers, delivering a comprehensive curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of its students.
THE L’AQUILA REALE COLLECTIVE ASSOCIATION
The Associazione Collettivo L’Aquila Reale, based in Civitella di Licenza, Lazio, Italy, is a cultural association and art centre focused on promoting research, experimentation, education, and the exchange of ideas. The organisation collaborates with local communities, cultural institutions, and artists to address critical issues such as depopulation, urban dependency, and climate change.
Through artistic residencies, workshops, and educational programmes, L’Aquila Reale fosters civic engagement and participatory culture. Its initiatives aim to create a multicultural and interdisciplinary platform that strengthens social cohesion and highlights the value of rural life
NEW HAND LAB CULTURAL ASSOCIATION
New Hand Lab Associação Cultural is a non-governmental cultural association based in Covilhã, Portugal. Located in a repurposed textile factory near the Carpinteira River, New Hand Lab Associação Cultural serves as a creative hub for around 20 artists and cultural managers. Its mission is to preserve and innovate within the textile, wool, and industrial heritage, transforming these elements into avenues for artistic creation, sustainability, and innovation.
The organisation operates five artistic labs, covering textile crafts, fashion design, tufting, weaving, and media arts. The organisation regularly hosts art residencies and cultural events, including exhibitions, performances, and workshops. It also collaborates with associations, collectives, institutions, and universities to develop multidisciplinary projects.
CAMPOS DE MELO SECONDARY SCHOOL
Escola Secundária Campos de Melo is a public secondary school located in Covilhã, Portugal, a university town with approximately 30,000 inhabitants near the Serra da Estrela mountain range.
The school serves about 600 students, from grades 7 to 12 (ages 11/12 to 17/18), and offers a variety of study fields, including Science and Technology, Arts and Humanities, as well as vocational courses in Health, Technology, 3D Design, Electro-Mechanics, and Car Mechanics. It also provides evening education for adults.
